Joe is an Investment Adviser Representative and Certified Financial Fiduciary® with over 15 years in the insurance and financial services industry. He formed Intelliplan Financial in 2015 to provide clients with foundational financial planning services and teach them new strategies outside of the traditional approach to help stabilize and protect their financial futures.
Joe is one of less than 300 life insurance agents* in the country who have successfully completed the rigorous training and continuing education requirements to become a Bank On Yourself® Professional.
He was also inducted into the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors, as a co-author with Bank On Yourself CEO, Pamela Yellen, of the number-one Amazon best-seller, The Secret to Lifetime Financial Security.
Joe strives to help clients manage any market volatility with numerous strategies so clients can feel confident and reach their retirement income goals. With his advanced planning techniques, Joe has helped his clients grow and preserve their wealth by helping them take control and reach their retirement income goals without taking unnecessary risks.
When he’s not in the office, Joe enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. He is a die-hard Ohio State football fan, and you can often catch him passionately rooting for the team, igniting his competitive spirit and deep love for the game.

Whitney Rhinehart
Chief Operating Officer
Whitney is responsible for managing our company’s daily operations and reporting them to the President, as well as assisting as a partner in the strategic planning of the company.
She is also responsible for the complete marketing and promotion of the company and oversees client relations, website, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
In her spare time, Whitney cherishes moments with her husband and two children, finding joy in quality family time. She also enjoys the outdoors, whether that involves gardening or hiking. Additionally, she loves to explore Columbus’ culinary scene, always eager to try out new restaurants.

Joel Schiff
Client Service Associate
Joel enjoys helping with the daily office operations, handling all appointment scheduling and client services, building and maintaining relationships with clients and prospective clients, and serving as a liaison with our carriers.
He has an interest in taking care of clients’ needs by providing and delivering professional, helpful, high-quality service in a timely manner and assistance before, during and after clients’ needs are met.
Joel’s background is in customer service and sales. He enjoys spending his free time staying active, enjoying the outdoors, and trying new restaurants around the Greater Columbus area.

The Certified Financial Fiduciary® certification is a professional designation provided by the National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries (NACFF), Charlotte, NC. To receive this designation, the individual must complete a certification and training process created by NACFF and The American Financial Education Alliance. The individual must complete a 1-day training course and pass the Program Assessment. The program educates professional advisors about the laws, rules and regulations that determine when the individual is acting as a fiduciary. 10 Annual Continuing Education Hours must be completed to renew the certification. The continuing education keeps the individual up to date on the fiduciary rules.
